“The Good Wife” is known for its slew of excellent guest stars and the Nov. 9 episode, titled “Poisoned Pill,” is no exception. Michael J. Fox plays an attorney who is suing a pharmaceutical company in a class-action lawsuit. “Good Wife” star Josh Charles tells Zap2it about Fox’s episode.
“In that episode, he faces off with Diane and Alicia, they’re handling it,” says Charles. “I’m involved from the periphery. I get to observe a few scenes in the court room.”
Despite not battling Fox in the courtroom, Charles really enjoyed working with him again (they were both in the 1995 action comedy “Coldblooded”).
“It was great. I had actually worked with Michael before, just a little over the years,” Charles says. “It was really nice to see him. He’s such an engaging person. I really admire him, he’s great.”
Charles also teased for us that Fox’s character, a disabled lawyer named Louis Canning, is not above using his disability to elicit sympathy from the jury.
“They wrote a really devious character for him,” laughs Charles. “I think he really relished playing it and he played it quite well. I look forward to seeing how people respond to him.”
