transformers dark moon 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' Trailer: Where's Shia?!

Our one sentence opinion on the new “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” trailer? This looks dumb. Oh, you want us to elaborate? OK, we’re here to please. 1. There’s no Shia LaBeouf. 2. It’s set completely in 1969 when the first man walked on the moon. 3. No Optimus Prime or Megatron.

]]>According to Wikipedia, Alpha Trion is one of the Original 13 Transformers and is “generally depicted as an ancient mechanoid with a link to Optimus Prime.” We don’t know what that means. Also of note: New Transformer babe Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who replaces Megan Fox, is nowhere to be seen. We’re guessing producers want to keep fan boys eagerly awaiting their first peek at Huntingwon-Whiteley. Smart move. There is one positive about the trailer: Director Michael Bay resists showing something blow up for over two minutes! Baby steps, people.
