As for the rest of it? No change there either.
“Charlie Sheen left the hospital last night and is at home,” his publicist, Stan Rosenfield, told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday (Jan. 28). “He will be on the set of ‘Two and a Half Men’ on Tuesday.”
Sheen was admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles early Thursday after complaining of abdominal pain; the diagnosis was a hiatal hernia, which a friend attributed to laughing too hard at the TV. Other reports said the hospital trip came at the end of a 36-hour party that included cocaine and porn stars.
(There’s also this little wrinkle to the story: The 911 call that sent an ambulance to Sheen’s home came from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof-Nassif and her husband, Dr. Paul Nassif, who live nearby and who tell People that someone at Sheen’s home called them asking for “medical assistance and advice” early Thursday.)
Meanwhile, friends, family members and colleagues of Sheen continue to express concern over Sheen’s lifestyle, but they’re all apparently powerless to do anything about it. An anonymous “friend” tells People that “Doctors are still trying to figure out exactly what it was. They’re running a lot of blood tests. … The crazy thing is, he’ll probably be just fine. It’s part of why he doesn’t see the problem.
“People are rallying around him to intervene. Everyone is very concerned for him at this point,” the friend adds. “It’s a really scary situation. Nobody is surprised. This is an ongoing problem.”
