TMZ reports that Sheen was removed from his home on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance headed for Cedars-Sinai Hospital. A 6:35 a.m. 911 call. Sheen had a towel over his face when he left the house.
Sources say Sheen, who was with two women at the time, was suffering from abdominal pains. Sheen’s publicist says “Charlie was in the emergency room this morning — sleeping.”
At the Television Critics Association Press Tour, CBS boss Nina Tassler commented on Sheen’s apparent downward spiral. “We have a high level of concern. How could we not?” she said. However, CBS was unable to intervene because according to them, Sheen’s antics haven’t compromised his show. “What do you get fired for? Going to work and doing your job? The show is a hit. That’s all we have to say.”
