As if Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding wasn’t going to be overexposed enough…
According to The Hollywood Reporter, TLC is planning to air five days of coverage leading up to the April 29 nuptials.
The network will show specials, royal interviews, a round-table discussion with experts (though we’re not sure what exactly they’re “experts” on) and a show revolving around extreme collectors of royal memorabilia.
Because if TLC’s taught us anything — everything in excess is the way to go.
TLC will also air live coverage of the wedding ceremony, as well as a condensed version that will run on April 30 and May 1. In case you couldn’t get out from under that rock and miss it, or something.
“With the success of TLC’s wedding shows, we wanted to get behind this epic event in a big way and provide our viewers with this special lineup to help enhance their overall Royal experience leading up to the wedding,” says Nancy Daniels, TLC’s senior vice president of programming and development.
Wedding-themed shows currently airing on the network include “Four Weddings” and one of our faves, “Say Yes to the Dress.”
