NBC’s Jeff Rossen sat down with Charlie Sheen in Beverly Hills Sunday (Feb. 27) for a “Today Show” interview, where he also met Sheen’s twin boys Max and Bob and his two new girlfriends, Bree Olson and Natalie Kenly, whom Sheen apparently refers to as “the goddesses.”
But the real fun began with the questions.
When Rossen pointed out that Sheen is angry, Sheen was quick to correct him.
“I’m not angry, I’m passionate and everybody thinks I’m should be like begging for my job back and I’m just going to forewarn them that it’s everybody else that’s gonna be begging me for their job back,” says Sheen. “I’ll finish the TV show. I’ll even do Season 10, but at this point because of psychological distress, ‘Oh my god,’ it’s 3 mil an episode. Take it over leave it.”
Rossen disbelievingly says Sheen wants a raise, from his current salary of 2 million an episode.
Sheen responds, “Look what they put me through!”
He then says that he’s underpaid right now when you look at the money CBS makes off “Two and a Half Men.”
The coup de grace:
“I’m tired of pretending like I’m not special. I’m tired of pretending
like I’m not bitching, a total fricking rock star
from Mars, and people can’t figure me out; they can’t process me. I
don’t expect them to. You can’t process me with a normal brain.”
Later in the episode, the interview continues. There was too much to continue on – read part II of the interview here.
