Looks like the third time wasn’t a charm for Tony Hawk.
The skateboarding icon, 42, filed for divorce from his third wide, Lhotse Merriam, on Friday, Feb. 4, in North San Diego County, California, People reports. The couple has released a joint statement: “We have made the difficult decision to file for divorce.”
The statement continues, “We remain deeply committed and loving parents to our daughter, and out of respect to that responsibility we ask that people honor our family’s privacy during this important time of transition. Thank you for understanding.”
The couple had their first child together, Kadence Clover Hawk, in June 2008 and married five years ago in Fiji.
The two married five years ago in Fiji. Hawk has three sons from his previous relationships.
Hawk was previously married to Cindy Dubar and Erin Lee and has three sons from the relationships.
