The show, officially the “untitled Redlich/Bellucci project” and also known as “The Rememberer,” stars Montgomery (“Without a Trace”) as Carrie Wells, a former detective gifted/cursed with the ability to remember absolutely everything. Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”) will play the head of an NYPD detective squad and former boyfriend of Carrie’s, Deadline reports.
Walsh’s character comes back into contact with Carrie as he’s investigating a murder near her apartment and brings her on as a consultant.
The pilot continues a relationship Walsh has had with CBS for the past year or so. He starred in a pilot called “The Line” last year and was attached to a different drama project earlier this season; the latter didn’t make it to the pilot stage.
In other casting news, Tiya Sircar has joined the cast of ABC’s drama “Georgetown” as the assistant to James Wolk‘s character, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sircar has appeared in several episodes of “The Vampire Diaries” and also guested on “Greek” and “Make It or Break It.” She co-stars in the feature “Friends with Benefits,” which hits theaters this summer.
