After taking in more than $137 million dollars over the Memorial Day weekend it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the “Hangover” franchise has already been given the go-ahead for a third installment.
According to The Wrap, screenwriter Craig Mazin — who co-wrote the second movie — is on board to write the third installment.
It’s still early days, though. None of the franchise’s main stars — Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis or Ed Helms — have signed on for a third round yet, reports Deadline.com. The same goes for director Todd Phillips.
We just hope Crystal the monkey — one of our favorite big-screen primates — will be back.
