Musician (and Kate Moss’ former boyfriend) Pete Doherty was jailed for six months after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine on Friday, May 20, The Independent reports. Doherty was arrested in January last year by police investigating the death of heiress Robyn Whitehead (said to be a drug overdose).
Doherty has already been jailed twice before and has repeatedly admitted possession of class A substances. Judge David Radford said Doherty had an “appalling record” as he’s already made 13 court appearances.
The British rocker, 32, was set to play Glasgow Barrowland the same day he was sentenced and a spokesman for the venue said the concert would be postponed until further notice.
