Selena Gomez just might be the very last pop princess we’d expect to anger fellow celebs (Unless they’re Beliebers, of course).
]]>Pink was up in arms on Thursday (May 19), after learning
that Gomez was including pink ponies in her latest music video, “Love
You Like a Love Song.”
“If there are any animal activists around Malibu — at Leo Cabrillo
State beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video.
Shame,” Pink tweeted.
“Whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’s, I won’t stop speaking out
about animal cruelty. I’ve taken responsibility in the past, so should
she,” the animal advocate continued on Friday.
Team Gomez maintains that there was no foul play and reassures fans that all proper measures were taken.
“It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez
that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken,” her
People. “A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an
airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was
on set supervising.”
Who do you think wins this round? Does Gomez need to “take responsibility” as Pink suggests, or is she in the clear?
