Amy Adams has her sights set on the role of Lois Lane in the upcoming “Man of Steel,” but the actress will squeeze in one more film before taking on the iconic reboot.
]]>reports that Adams has signed on to Paul Thomas Anderson’s still untitled film, with Philip Seymour Hoffman in the lead. Adams will play his wife, joining Joaquin Phoenix in a supporting role.
Hoffman will play a faith leader who, after witnessing the chilling
terrors of WWII, forms a new religion that earns a following in the
1950s. Reportedly Laura Dern and “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’s” Lena Endre are in talks for additional roles.
Adams has been a busy lady, with “On The Road” expected to be released at some point this year and Disney’s “Muppets” slated for a November release. She is expected to begin filming the still untitled project later this month.
