Summer movie season is upon us, and where better to talk blockbusters than at the MTV Movie Awards. Zap2it was on the red carpet asking the attendees for their must see flicks of summer.

Tyler Hoechlin and Colton Haynes both expressed their excitement at getting to the theater to check out the film. Brandon Johnson of Disney’s “Shake It Up!” also dished that “Tree of Life” was one of his favorites already. “That was a tough one,” he says. “Just emotionally. It hit me pretty hard. But amazing and definitely as an audience member it hits you on the subconscious and the conscious level.” On a lighter note, both “ABDC” judge Lil’ Mama and “Super 8” newcomer Ryan Lee can’t wait to check out Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in “Green Lantern.” Of course Lee plugs his own film as well, which hits theaters this Friday (June 10). Funny lady Beth Littleford, who stars as the sex crazed momma on MTV’s “The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” tells us she absolutely loved “Bridesmaids.” “I’ve seen ‘Bridesmaids’ twice already,” she says. “[It’s] funny women being funny, it is all kinds of characters, it’s all kinds of relationships. Women never get to do this in this industry and I love it! Really, I think it’s the best comedy we’ve got right now.” She also tells us about her role in the upcoming “Crazy, Stupid, Love” with Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone and more. “I love this movie,” she gushes. “I love my part. I play the exact opposite character of what I do on ‘RJ Berger.’ I’m the uptight, nosy, disapproving mom and it’s a great movie. I’ve seen it, I laughed, I cried, I love it. It’s coming out July 29th.” A few months ahead of herself, Littleford also dished on her excitement for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I” Sadly, she’ll have to wait until November for that one. “The Hangover: Part II” has already hit theaters, but the guys are still clamoring to go check it out. “Fantasy Factory’s” Drama and Big Cat both told us they can’t wait to see it, as did “Twilight’s” Jackson Rathbone. Possibly the most surprising (and hilarious) answer comes to us via Josh Duhamel. Duhamel sped through the red carpet, stopping for very few media outlets. Regardless, we screamed and shouted as he sped by, asking which movies he would be hitting the theater for this summer. Mr. Fergilicious stopped, turned, and looked us square in the eye before simply stating: “Cars 2.” Then, as quickly as he stopped. He was off again. How about you, Zappers? What movies are you dying to check out?
