No one will ever accuse Harrison Ford of not speaking his mind, but he thinks one of his co-stars should do a little less of it. The actor recently gave Shia LaBeouf a very hard time after LaBeouf gave their 2008 film, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” a rather lackluster review.
LaBeouf, if you don’t recall, told reporters that he felt that himself and Steven Spielberg “dropped the ball” on the fourth Indiana Jones film.
“I think I told him he was a f***ing idiot,” Ford told Details in their recent profile on LaBeouf. “As an actor, I think it’s my obligation to support the film without
making a complete ass of myself. Shia is
ambitious, attentive and talented–and he’s learning how to deal with a
situation which is very unique and difficult.”
Though we understand an actor’s obligation to support a film, we also appreciate LaBeouf’s candor. After all, no one is proud of every single thing that they do in their careers — why should actors have to pretend to be any different?
