An alleged new set of photos of Rep. Andrew Weiner surfaced on Monday (June 6), the same day that Weiner held a press conference to address a graphic photo the New York Democrat allegedly sent to a 21-year-old woman on Twitter. Weiner denied sending the photo, claiming that hackers had invaded his Twitter account and sent the photo.
However, when asked by MSNBC’s Luke Russert to confirm if the photo wasn’t him, Weiner responded with a somewhat evasive, “I can’t say with certitude.”
The new photo appeared on Big Journalism, a conservative news and commentary site run by right wing blogger Andrew Breitbart. A woman claims Weiner sent her the photos — in one, Weiner appears shirtless — via BlackBerry and says she had “an online, consensual relationship involving the mutual exchange of intimate photographs.”
The woman also told Radar Online that she had a “sexting” relationship with Weiner. In a transcript of the “sexts” provided by the woman, who prefers to remain nameless of course, Weiner allegedly writes, “ridiculous bulge in my shorts now. wanna see?”
Breitbart himself showed up at the conference called by Weiner and took the podium prior to the Congressman’s arrival. He claimed he appeared to vindicate himself and rebut allegations that he was responsible for hacking Weiner’s Twitter account.
We’ll update if and when Weiner takes the podium.
