Family and friends turned out in London Tuesday (July 26) to grieve and pay tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse, who tragically passed away last Saturday at the age of 27. The funeral was held at Edgewarebury Lane cemetery in London, with such friends as British DJ Mark Ronson (above, left), Kelly Osbourne and British TV personality Nick Grimshaw (above, right) in attendance.
Meanwhile, fans have flocked to Amy’s North London apartment, where they have been leaving photographs, flowers, candles and other items as a memorial to the singer (pictured, below). Amy’s death is still categorized as “unexplained,” with more tests forthcoming after the autopsy revealed nothing conclusive as to cause of death.
Amy’s boyfriend Reg Traviss tells the Sun that Amy did not die in some drug-fueled haze or overdose. “She had been full of life and so upbeat recently, exercising every day
and doing yoga. This terrible thing that happened is
like an accident,” says Traviss.
