Demi Lovato is back and ready to Do Something! The Do Something Awards that is.
Lovato will perform her hit single “Skyscraper” at the awards show which honors young people who empower their community and the world through various charity projects.
“If you are expecting anything less than ‘wow,’ you’ve got the wrong award show,” says DoSomething.org CEO Nancy Lublin. “We are so psyched to have Demi’s first public performance, a hot break-out band like Foster the People, and expect OneRepublic with B.o.B to be very loud!”
We definitely think this is a perfect fit for Demi. She is also nominated in two categories, the Do Something Charity Song and the Do Something TV Star awards having taken a stand against cyber-bullying after seeing the impact it has had on her own life. Now she stands as a role model and inspiration for others
which is exactly what DoSomething.org is all about.
“Glee’s” Jane Lynch will host the awards which air Thursday, Aug. 18 on VH1.
