After landing the evening before and heading straight to two receptions, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the first part of Saturday morning a few hours north in Santa Barbara.
They attended a polo match at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club for the Foundation Of Prince William And Prince Harry. The benefit, which included a luncheon, was held in support of the many charities and philanthropic organizations the princes are involved with.
William played, scoring four goals for his team. He later received a trophy — and a kiss from his wife.
Back in Los Angeles, the two arrived at the Belasco Theatre for the BAFTA “Brits to Watch” dinner — partially organized by “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe. Other guests included Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hanks, Zooey Deschanel and Nicole Kidman.
