We’re loving Dianna Agron‘s pink bob — it reminds us of Rachel McAdams’ cotton-candy color from several years back. When she first stepped out with the hot pink hair in place of her usual blonde, we figured that she was just having some fun between the “Glee” tour and going back to work on the TV show.
That’s not the case! In a tweet, Agron reveals that the color is all about her character. “Hey all! The pink is for work,” she wrote. “Tried to keep it a surprise…so, that is all I will say! Thanks for all the nice comments on it! #barbiepink”
So what is it that sends Quinn diving into the Manic Panic? She’s the last member of New Directions we’d expect to go crazy with color. We’re guessing it’s a continuation of the drastic haircut we saw her get in the season finale.
“Glee” E.P. Brad Falchuk told EW after the finale, that Quinn’s haircut helped her get over Finn. “It was all in her hair, man. It really was. All the bad juju was in her
hair and she cut it all off and everything got better,” he said. “It wasn’t that
she got over it all but I think she’s just grown up. Every culture has a
ritual like that where you make some sort of physical change and it
transforms you inside too.”
If cutting her hair got rid of “bad juju,” what did dyeing it pink do?
