Ava Sambora, the 13-year-old daughter of the “Melrose Place” star and the rocker, has joined the cast of the new Judd Apatow film, according to Variety. The untitled comedy features Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprising their roles from the 2007 hit “Knocked Up.”
This will be the acting debut for the younger Sambora. She does, however, have some showbiz experience having done runway model work for White Trash Beautiful, a clothing line started by designer Nikki Lund and Sambora’s father.
The movie will also feature Melissa McCarthy, who starred in Apatow’s “Bridesmaids.”
The Universal film is scheduled for release on June 1, 2012.
