Just days after “Bachelor Pad” showed Holly Durst voting off cast member and potential love interest Blake Julian to spare the feelings of cast member and former fianc Michael Stagliano, People says the pair are engaged.
Given the season-long flirtation between Durst and Julian, both 28, the romance doesn’t come as a complete surprise — but it’s got to make you feel for Stagliano. He’s spent the better part of Season 2 crying about his failed engagement and shooting eye bullets at Julian. (And not just any eye bullets, we’re talking sawed-off shotgun eye bullets.)
There’s also the not-so-small matter of Julian’s debatable moral character. “Bachelor Pad,” after all, is like chess for people with Syphilis-induced dementia. Gameplay requires flirtation and even the occasional canoodling with competitors of the opposite sex.
Blake tried really hard to win “Bachelor Pad.”
So is it true? Consider this betrothal stuck in rumor limbo for the time-being, likely until ABC’s “Bachelor Pad” Season 2 finale, which airs Monday, Sept. 12.
