The latest premiere for any of the fall’s new network series just got a little later.
FOX has bumped the debut of its comedy “I Hate My Teenage Daughter” back one week. The show had been scheduled to premiere Wednesday, Nov. 23 — the day before Thanksgiving — but is now set for Nov. 30.
What to make of the one-week delay? We’re not entirely sure. “Teenage Daughter” was booked for such a late start in the first place because its lead-in, “The X Factor,” will run for two hours on Wednesday nights for much of the fall before trimming back to 90 minutes.
The delay probably won’t make a huge difference one way or another in the fortunes of “I Hate My Teenage Daughter.” Whether it premieres on Nov. 23 or Nov. 30, it likely won’t get a long run before the networks enter their pre-Christmas rerun cycle.
FOX hasn’t decided yet what will fill the 9:30 p.m. ET spot on Nov. 23.
