The country singer has dropped 25 pounds over the past five months, and she’s done it the old-school way: by eating better and exercising more.
“Changing my diet was the big thing,” Alaina, who turns 17 on Nov. 8, tells Us Weekly. “I had to learn correct portion control.”
She tells the magazine she cut back on carbs and upped the amount of protein and vegetables she eats, and she works out (“lots of squats”) pretty much every day.
Best of all, she looks healthy and fit after her weight loss and not scary-skinny (the pics above are from June and earlier this week). Cheers to that.
Alaina’s debut album, “Wildflower,” opened at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album charts and currently sits at No. 10.
