“Twin Peaks” comes to “Ringer“! Actress Madchen Amick is heading back to New York City to play a role in the hit CW show.
Two cult classics are about to team up on the CW. Amick, best known for her role as Shelly Johnson on “Twin Peaks” (and NYC’s Duchess Catherine Beaton on “Gossip Girl“) will be joining “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar on “Ringer” in a potentially recurring role.
According to TVLine, Amick will play Greer Sheridan, a “confident, sexy and strong-willed” socialite who was once a friend of Siobhan (Gellar). An incident from their past split the friends apart and Bridget makes it her business to find out what happened when they team up for a charity event.
Amick will join the star of yet another cult classic, “Veronica Mars.” Jason Dohring, who played Logan Echolls (sigh) on the canceled-too-soon series just joined “Ringer” this past week.
Amick, who was most recently seen in “White Collar,” “CSI: NY” and “Damages,” will make her series debut in episode 11.
