When we last checked in with Irish chanteuse Sinead O’Connor, she’d changed her look somewhat since her heydey as a Pope-photo-ripping banshee — so much so that some even questioned if the woman pictured was actually O’Connor.
But when cameras caught up with her Thursday (Oct. 27) evening at The 2011 amfAR Inspiration Gala at Los Angeles’s Chateau Marmont, O’Connor was again sporting her signature bald-headed look, a trimmer figure and what appeared to be a freshly-inked massive tattoo of Jesus on her chest.
O’Connor performed at the event, along with Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry, who herself (see below) wore a showstopping outfit. The gala was attended by Sandra Bullock (who landed an Andy Warhol painting for son Louis), Colin Farrell and Sean Penn, among others.
O’Connor also made headlines in August when she wrote on her website that she was “in desperate need of a very sweet sex-starved man.”
Earlier this week, O’Connor criticized the British version of “X Factor.”
“My daughter wants to be a singer,” she said. “But I wouldn’t want to put her into a situation like The X Factor where she would be vulnerable to being looked at by someone which is a huge thing for a 15- or 16-year-old to deal with.”
What do you think of Sinead’s new tattoo?
