“Whoever did this must be brought to justice,” Charice said upon arriving at home (translated from her native language of Tagalog). “Justice must be served not just for my father but for everyone concerned.”
According to GMA News, a task force has been formed to track down the killer, who is believed to have been drunk at the time of the murder. The suspect has been named as Angel Capili Jr., age 35. He is 5’4″ or 5’5″, with long hair and a large frame. Capili’s wife, who refused to cooperate with police, may face charges for obstruction of justice after she told officers she hadn’t seen her husband in a week, though they expect she saw him Tuesday.
Additionally, it is believed that Capili confessed his crime to his mother, who may be asked to testify as a witness.
