Pat Robertson stuck his foot in it again. Apparently he’s never heard of eating Mac ‘n’ Cheese on Thanksgiving. Or any other time of the year. While hosting “The 700 Club,” he watched an video of host Kristi Watts interviewing former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
During the interview, Watts asked Rice the one dish she had to have at Thanksgiving. “It’s mac and cheese,” Rice said. Watts replied, “Sister, that is my dish, that is the one thing I can rock.” Rice said, “But only once, once a year.”
After the interview, Robertson appeared confused, saying, “What is this mac and cheese? Is that a black thing?” Oh. Pat.
Watts answered, “It is a black thing Pat. Listen: and you guys, other people, the
world needs to get on board with macaroni and cheese. Christmas and Thanksgiving — we have to have macaroni and cheese, and
it trips me out that you don’t.”
“I really don’t, I don’t, and I have never,” said Robertson while the two laughed.
Pat, just … save your words. Check out the clip below.
