“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Charlie Day makes his inaugural appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and naturally he’s excited to be joining the show.

Perhaps a little too excited, as you can see in the second promo spot in the video above. It’s OK, though — Day’s “Horrible Bosses” co-star, “SNL” regular Jason Sudeikis, is there to help. After a fashion.

The other takes feature the two guys bantering about “Horrible Bosses,” Sudeikis getting angry that an actor on a cable show would address him by his first name and, in the big finish, a top-hats-and-canes musical number. The entire thing also features us being generally amused at the height disparity between Day and Sudeikis.

“SNL” airs at 11:30 p.m. ET Saturday (Nov. 5) on NBC. Day will be joined by musical guest Maroon 5.
