This weekend’s most buzzed-about new release, “Shame,” stars Michael Fassbender, a.k.a. young Magneto from “X-Men: First Class,” in a very revealing role.
The NC-17 film follows Fassbender’s Brandon Sullivan, a sex addict sleeping his way through New York City. “Shame” was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best International Film, and now the Oscar buzz is getting even louder.
But “Shame” is no light-hearted sex comedy — it’s a serious, heavy film about a man dealing with an addiction. What, that didin’t sell you? What if we were to say that Fassbender gets naked? (Like, really naked. A lot.) Yeah, we thought so.
Check out the film’s newest trailer below. Needless to say, it’s not very safe for work. At all.
“Shame” is out in limited release on Friday, Dec. 2.
