Lamar Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian were almost needing to pack their bags for New Orleans Thursday night (Dec. 8), when the Lakers agreed to trade Odom in a three-team deal with the New Orleans Hornets and the Houston Rockets. Later in the evening, the NBA and commissioner David Stern killed the trade, reportedly under pressure from the team owners.
Odom tells the LA Times he was “shocked” and “surprised” by the initial news, but then “weirded out” by the NBA’s killing of the trade.
“And then it doesn’t go through. Oh, lord. I don’t know what I’m going to do. I’ll pray about it,” says Odom. “Maybe I’ll see you there tomorrow [at practice]. But I
doubt it. You don’t want to go to no place you’re not wanted. I’ll try
to give them what they want as much as possible.”
Meanwhile, wife Khloe Kardashian was ready to stand by her man.
She tweets, “Not at all! I would go anywhere with my hubby! “@RondoJames: I know you were scared you were going to NO!!!! @KhloeKardashian”
and, “I ride or die for my Lam! Its where I go… Its who I am with “@KhloMoney_Dolls: @KhloeKardashian You’re Such A Great Wife Khlo :)”
and finally, “@necolebitchie I can survive anywhere… People are acting cray! LOL New Orleans is a great place. As long as I’m with Lam I’m good #bible.”
The TV fan in us is kind of curious as to what “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” would have looked like had Khloe moved to New Orleans with Lamar. Ah well.
