In was an emotional night Thursday (Dec. 8) on “The X Factor.”
And, amidst much controversy, Rachel Crow was sent packing. But now that she’s off the show, what does the future hold for the 13-year-old?
“Sleep. Sleep. Sleep,” she says without any hesitation. But on a more serious tone, she says she’s looking to start her show business career in earnest. For this she has big plans.
“I would love to be the triple threat (actress, singer, dancer). That would be amazing for me,” Crow says. She adds as far as what she’d like to sing, “Pop is my thing. But I like the retro kinda ’50s pop feel. I want to make a new genre of music.”
And Simon Cowell, her mentor on the show, seems to concur that could easily be in the future for the Colorado teen.
“She’s a 360 artist. I’m absolutely convinced that she’ll end up on Nickelodeon or Disney,” Cowell says. “I think she’s got that tenacity, she’s got that appeal. I think she’s going to be absolutely fine.”
Crow, while obviously disappointed in the results, offers her infectious smile when discussing her future.
“I’m not feeling great, but I’ll be fine,” she says. “It’s just what God had in store for me.”
