Playmate Claire Sinclair secured a restraining order on Monday (Feb. 13) against Marston Hefner, son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. This news comes less than 24 hours after Marston was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence against Sinclair.
TMZ is reporting that the 2011 Playmate of the Year obtained a three-day restraining order against Marston. The publication adds that Sinclair plans to immediately move out of the Pasadena, CA apartment the two shared.
It was late Sunday (Feb. 12) that police were called to the couple’s home. When the cops arrived, they reportedly saw visible injuries on Sinclair including bruises and red marks. Hefner was arrested and later released on $20,000 bail.
Despite all of this, including claims of repeated abuse, Sinclair says she’s willing to drop the matter if Marston complies with a couple of her requests.
“I will not press charges against Marston Hefner if he keeps his word to give a public apology for physically abusing me on several occasions, and seeks psychiatric help for his anger issues,” Sinclair says. “I don’t condone domestic violence, but if one ounce of good can come from this bad experience, then I can live with it and move on.”
While Marston has been mum on the matter, his father did issue a statement. The head rabbit says, “If they care about each other, they’ll patch it up.”
