According to Twitter and bra maker Wonderbra, Friday (March 30) is National Cleavage Day, a day for “women to realize that their cleavage is something unique and that they should be proud of it.”
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Wonderbra also released a list of its “Celebrity Cleavage Hall of Fame” inductees. But since the list is Brit-centric and doesn’t contain “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks, its legitimacy is highly questionable.
1. Holly Willoughby (British TV presenter/model)
2. Scarlett Johansson
5. Marilyn Monroe
6. Dita Von Teese
7. Katy Perry
8. Brigitte Bardot
9. Kim Kardashian
10. Lara Stone (Dutch model)
Improbably, the celebration started in South Africa in 2002 as a way to help women diagnosed with leukemia and other blood diseases. And, in the past, the company has apparently donated money to South Africa’s Sunflower fund.
Are you totally confused? And who would you induct into a “Cleavage Hall of Fame?”
