Well, that didn’t take long: News broke Friday (March 2) that “Khloe and Lamar” star Lamar Odom was dropped from the Dallas Mavericks and moving to the team’s D-League affiliate, the Texas Legends; but less than 24 hours later, Khloe Kardashian’s hubby is back on the team and is expected to play in Saturday’s game against the Utah Jazz, reports E! Online.
After a less-than-stellar season thus far, Odom had taken a break to care for his ailing father, missing the team’s Feb. 22 face-off against the LA Lakers. He was initially expected to rejoin the team after the All-Star break.
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said Friday that Odom would be back on the team after a brief stint with the Legends — but who knew it would be this brief?
His wife took to Twitter on Friday to clear things up, writing that her better half would be with the Mavericks on Sunday (March 4). Looks like even she overshot his return date.
