Just when you’d completely forgotten that Leah Remini was ever on “The Talk,” she goes and reminds us with a Twitter rant where she rails against her former co-star Sharon Osbourne. Remini believes it is Osbourne who had her and Holly Robinson Peete fired from the daytime show.
Remini writes on Twitter, “She [Osbourne] had us fired. She told Howard Stern. Explains why she never called us back.”
She then goes on to says what she thinks drove Osbourne’s alleged decision. She writes, “Sharon thought me and Holly were ‘Ghetto,’ (her words) we were not funny, awkward and didn’t know ourselves.”
The never-short-of-words Osbourne responds on Twitter, “I had absolutely nothing to do with her departure from the show & have no idea why she continues to take to Twitter to spread this false gossip. Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show. That being said, my only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional, and childish behavior.”
Peete has taken the high road on the matter and has said nothing on Twitter.
Perhaps they should all talk it out.
