mad men cocktails 2 'Mad Men' cocktails: Drink like Don DraperAMC’s iconic — and culturally influential (there’s a Banana Republic line of clothes, after all) — series “Mad Men” kicks off its fifth season on Sunday, March 25. And what better way to watch than with drink in hand, ala Don Draper (Jon Hamm), the show’s cocktail king?

Drambuie, an account that Sterling Cooper Draper Price would’ve been proud to rep, has released a handful of “Mad Men”-inspired cocktail concoctions just in time for Sunday’s premiere. All, of course, feature Drambuie — the Scottish liqueur made from malt whisky, honey, herbs and spices.

Don’s drink of choice is the Old Fashioned. Give one a spin or try another era-appropriate recipe below. Make sure to try the alternate Manhattan, too, created with Basil Hayden’s Bourbon, which we’re told is a cast favorite.
