rush limbaugh oil Rush Limbaugh's week of women bashing includes a bomb scareIt’s doubtful that conservative firebrand Rush Limbaugh ever has a slow week, but that one seems to have been particularly busy one. What with making derogatory comments about women and the bomb scare and all.

First, he went on a radio tirade against Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown law student who testified at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi‘s unofficial hearing about the ramifications of a religious-affiliated organization whose insurance coverage does not cover contraception for women:

“What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex? What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.”

As if that weren’t enough, he also dismissed racecar driver’s Danica Patrick‘s support of President Obama‘s contraception decision as “What do you expect from a woman driver?”

None of this probably had anything to do with the suspicious package left at his Palm Beach home that had the bomb squad come running, but that’s what came next on Thursday (Mar. 1).

The sender of the package — which contained an electronic plaque and wires — has been identified, reports TMZ, and has apologized for the wrapping that raised suspicions and insisting that it’s not a bomb. No word as to what the package actually contained.
