Katie Couric is filling in for “Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts the week of April 1, and there are some people over at the show who aren’t very happy about that. Couric, who formerly co-hosted “Today,” is taking over while Roberts is on vacation.
According to TMZ’s source, the staff believes this is a slight against Roberts. “They should have put Katie on when George was on vacation,” the source says. They also say that Roberts is unhappy, but hasn’t said anything negative about anyone.
“GMA” is getting close to taking over “Today” in the ratings, and this appearance might be the thing that lands it in the top spot. We want to know what you think. Is this appearance a good or a bad move? The source says that Couric was very gracious and was clear about the fact that this wasn’t a permanent move.
