voice quarterfinals ratings TV ratings: 'The Voice' dips but still gives NBC an 18 49 win MondayFast National ratings for Monday, April 16, 2012

The quarterfinals of “The Voice” fell a bit in the ratings compared to last week, but nothing on the other networks rose up to challenge it, so NBC still led Monday night in adults 18-49. ABC was boosted a little by the return of “Castle,” while “Dancing With the Stars” had a split verdict — up in viewers but down in the 18-49 demographic.

ABC led the night in viewers by a wide margin, drawing 14.7 million people and a 9.5 rating/16 share in households. NBC (8.6 million, 5.3/8) came in second, a little bit ahead of CBS (8.1 million, 5.1/8). FOX (6.3 million, 3.9/6) dipped slightly from last week. The CW (1.2 million, 0.8/1) was up a tick.

NBC’s 3.1 rating topped the adults 18-49 demo, beating out CBS’ 2.7 and ABC’s 2.6. FOX averaged 2.0 for the night and The CW 0.6.
