Deion Sanders landed a couple of legal victories on Monday (May 7) in his ongoing divorce battle with estranged wife Pilar.
The AP is reporting that a Texas judge issued a restraining order and Pilar must stay at least 500 yards away from Deion’s Dallas home. In addition to this, Deion has been granted temporary custody of the couple’s children pending a full custody hearing.
The problems this time stem from a April 23 skirmish at Sanders home. It was here that the Hall of Famer claimed that Pilar and a friend assaulted him in front of their children. If found guilty on this charge, Pilar could be fined for the alleged attack.
Neither of the two have commented publicly on these rulings. However Deion did take to Twitter to say, “God is so good! Don’t ever doubt him no matter how your situation looks. Trust him please. He is so faithful.”
