Only one more episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 2! Yes, it’s
painful to think about. We’ve got a whole year before we find out what
happens to our favorite characters. In the meantime, many of you will
read the books and wonder who’s going to show up in Season 3.
EW posted a list of who we’re going to meet when next season rolls around. There are very mild spoilers here. Nothing that will ruin the season for you or spill plot points. Still, you’ve been warned.
Mance Rayder: This is the “King Beyond the Wall”
that we’ve been hearing about all season. Jon Snow is on his way to meet
this former Night’s Watchman.
Daario Naharis: The captain of the mercenary company
the Stormcrows. He’s got blue hair and blue eyes and a beard spiked
into three prongs. He’ll figure into Daenerys’ story line.
Jojen Reed; Meera Reed: A teenage brother and sister
from the Crannogmen. They’ll find themselves in Bran’s story line.
Jojen has the “greensight,” which gives him prophetic dreams.
Edmure Tully: The brother of Catelyn and Lysa Tully who becomes the head of House Tully.
Ser Brynden Tully (The Blackfish): Catelyn Stark’s
uncle and the man who helped Cat and Lysa with childhood problems. He’s a
fierce warrior and part of his personal seal is a black fish.
Lady Selyse Florent: Stannis Baratheon’s wife
and Queen. She’s a fervent worshipper of the Red God and a follower of
Melisandre’s. She and Stannis do not get along.
Shireen: Stannis’ daughter. She’s nine-years-old and
disfigured from a disease called “greyscale,” which caused her left
cheek and neck to be covered in grey and black dead skin.
Olenna Redwyne (The Queen of Thorns): Margaery Tyrell’s sharp-tongued grandmother. She’s no stranger to political scheming and always speaks her mind.
Beric Dondarrion: The leader of the outlaw group Brotherhood Without Banners.
Thoros of Myr: A red priest who becomes a part of Brotherhood Without Banners.
Tormund Giantsbane: A famous Wildling raider. He calls himself the Tall-talker, Horn-blower and Breaker of Ice, Husband to Bears, the Mead-king of Ruddy Hall, Speaker to Gods and Father of Hosts
