Feast your eyes on Matthew Perry‘s return to NBC: The network has released the first pictures from “Go On,” a new comedy featuring the former “Friends” star the network has picked up for next season.
We’ve also got pics from “Save Me,” another new comedy for 2012-13 that stars Anne Heche as a woman who believes she’s channeling God and creating miracles.
“Go On” is Perry’s second post-“Friends” series for NBC; he also starred in “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” in 2006-07. In the new show, he plays a sportscaster — from the looks of the photo, he’s a radio host — who reluctantly attends group therapy sessions after suffering a loss. He then finds himself getting surprising comfort from the other members of the group. Here’s the cast picture, in which Perry is surrounded by (from left) Allison Miller (“Terra Nova”), Khary Payton (“Ben 10”), Suzy Nakamura (“10 Things I Hate About You”), Laura Benanti (“The Playboy Club”) and Julie White (“Transformers”). Veteran actor Bill Cobbs is also in the pilot.
Two photos from “Save Me” are below, the first with Heche pleading her case to the heavens and the second with the whole cast in all its Photoshopped glory. The show also stars Heather Burns (“Bored to Death”), Alexandra Breckenridge (“American Horror Story”), Michael Landes (“Upstairs Downstairs”), Madison Davenport (“Shameless”) and Lamman Rucker (“Meet the Browns”).
NBC will introduce its full 2012-13 schedule at its upfront presentation on May 14.
