The final Sunday of May sweeps was not a banner one for the broadcast networks. The finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice” was down from last year’s season ender (but up from recent weeks, at least), and the Billboard Music Awards on ABC also took a tumble from last year’s broadcast. The season finales of “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy” on FOX were also off compared to a year ago.

CBS led the night in total viewers, drawing 11.3 million people and a 7.3 rating/12 share in households. ABC (7 million, 4.2/7) came in second for the night, beating out NBC (5.55 million, 3.5/6). FOX trailed with 4.1 million viewers and a 2.3/4.

ABC was the only network to top the 2.0 mark among adults 18-49, finishing the night with a 2.4 in the demographic. FOX took second with a 1.9, followed by NBC, 1.6, and CBS, 1.3.
