“Glee” gave back its ratings gains from last week, “The Voice” slipped a little in adults 18-49 and “NCIS” was down from its last original episode on a pretty bleak Tuesday night in the Nielsens. “The L.A. Complex” went even lower than its historically low debut on The CW, and “New Girl” drew its smallest audience ever.

Among the few bright spots, the finale of “The Biggest Loser” was up in viewers over last week, and “NCIS: Los Angeles” rose with the conclusion of a crossover with “Hawaii Five-0.” But that’s pretty much it.

CBS averaged 14.3 million viewers and a 9.1 rating/14 share in households to lead the night. ABC (8.9 million, 6.0/10) came in second, followed by NBC (6.7 million, 4.4/7). FOX came in fourth with 4.8 million viewers and a 3.0/5, while The CW managed only about 900,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.

CBS also topped the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.6 rating, beating out NBC’s 2.3. FOX took third with a 2.1. ABC scored a 1.9 in the demo and The CW a 0.5.
