The TV season might be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t reminisce over the best and worst of 2011-2012 with the Zap2it Awards! Today’s poll might be the hardest decision you’ll make all day: Which show had the better use of a fat suit: Fat Betty Francis on “Mad Men” or Fat Schmidt on “New Girl”?
On one hand, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) has his own theme song: “We built this Schmidty, we built this Schmidty on tootsie rolls!” On the other hand, Betty (January Jones) shares our love of Bugles and whipped cream (and breaks our heart a little bit every week with her struggles…and also has her own unofficial theme song).
It’s a tough choice, but we need your help to decide which fat suit was more awesome. (And regardless of the winner, there hasn’t been a more effective use of the fat suit since Fat Monica on “Friends.”) Vote in our poll below to help us declare a fat suit victor once and for all!
Here are the rules: You can only vote once per IP address. (So if you want to vote from home and from work, and from your little sister’s iPad, we’re not going to stop you.) We’ll examine the votes before we make final tallies and disqualify any votes that came from bots or automated voters, or with blocked IP addresses. The best way to campaign for your faves to win is to spread the word via social media and encourage your fellow fans to vote. Voting closes at 12:01 a.m. PST on Monday, June 11.
