Tim Poe has been making headlines this week after his beautiful audition for “America’s Got Talent,” which included his video package of his war-time heroism serving in Afghanistan. Which now may have been partially a lie, as the Minnesota National Guard says he was not injured while serving, plus a photo he gave to “AGT” was not actually of him.
Now producers for the summer talent competition show tell TMZ that they received the errant photo from Tim and aired it without question. Moving forward, sources say there will “definitely be edits” regarding Poe, but did not specify exactly what that means.
Judge Howie Mandel tells TMZ, “I was blown away that I was totally taken in. I’m really angry with the guy.”
But Mandel doesn’t believe Poe will be removed from the show. He believes producers will continue to let Poe perform, though now there will be a lot of talk about him being a liar and not a war hero.
So … good luck with that.
