Bravo’s “Top Chef” has already hit up culinary hot spots like New York, Miami, Chicago and Las Vegas, and now the reality show is heading to the Pacific Northwest for its latest season. If reports are to be believed, the cooking competition will take place in Seattle for Season 10.
Seattle site SeattleMet has two separate sources saying that Bravo and production company Magical Elves are currently preparing for a Seattle-set season, and have even leased a building in Redmond, Wash. Reality Blurred reports that host Padma Lakshmi has been spotted dining in town, and location scouts have been seen at places like Melrose Market.
While Bravo will never officially comment until production is well underway — rumors that the show was shooting in Texas were around for months before they were officially confirmed — all signs are pointing to Seattle. However, SeattleMet notes that the show might split the season between Seattle and Portland, Ore., much like the Texas season was set in San Antonio, Dallas and Austin.
Season 10 began casting in February 2012.
How much do you want to bet that the first challenge has to do with coffee? (Come on, the challenges aren’t known for their subtlety.)
