Two of the biggest young stars in Hollywood don’t get along. Robert Pattinson — famous for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series — and Andrew Garfield, the new Peter Parker in “The Amazing Spider-Man,” are rivals according to Us Magazine.
Both stars were present at the recent wedding of producer Kevin Turen and spent most of the night ignoring one another.
“The truth is, Andrew can’t stand Rob,” a source tells Us. “He hates that they’re put in the same category because they’re both English and around the same age.”
They do have more in common than just their heritage and appeal to
female audiences; both Pattinson and Garfield are dating their co-stars (Kristen Stewart and Emma Stone, respectively)
from their mega-hit movies.
This is not the first time Pattinson has been at odds with a fellow celebrity. According to an interview with George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, Pattinson had a tiff with music superstar Adele in February.
“I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said,” Pattinson, 26, said. “[I told her] you know, you can just really reach for it!! And she was like, ‘You do realize, I’m, like, the biggest-selling female artist ever.’ And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it.”
