Charlie Sheen joined the Twitterverse in the midst of his epic parting from “Two and a Half Men” in March 2011, when he had a couple infamous incidents, said he was “winning” at everything and talked about things like drinking tiger blood. Naturally, he gained a lot of followers very quickly.
But now Sheen is done. He has closed up shop on his Twitter account, @charliesheen, that had nearly 8 million followers when he deleted the account. Sources close to Sheen tell TMZ it’s because he feels he’s not getting anything out of using the social network.
He posted his final tweet late Thursday evening (July 12): “reach for the stars everyone. dogspeed cadre. c out.” The above picture was one of his first tweets.
