DirecTV and Viacom’s ongoing dispute over how much Viacom charges to distribute channels like MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon has left about 20 million people without TV access to shows like “Awkward,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Futurama.”
Adding to the pain, Viacom has decided to stop streaming full episodes of some of its shows online, EW reports. “The Daily Show,” for instance, has been in reruns the past couple weeks, but ComedyCentral.com isn’t allowing users to watch back episodes either (although the most recent shows are still up on Hulu).
